4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is
excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Words Of Faith About Accessing God You
are human and you want an easy way to talk to God and get what you want. You
want to dial a number to get Him on the phone to give Him your requests. You
want an easy way to get Him to give you what you want and need. However,
you know there is no easy way. You
are being honest when in your heart you want the easy way, but you know the path
you walk together with Him is not easily trod. So,
when you need Him most, trust in Him and He will help you be honest. When
you need Him most, He will help you remember to be loving, kind, caring, and
compassionate toward others. When
things are difficult, reach out to Him in faith whether you are strong in faith
or not…and He will help you. He
will help you confront your sin, your fallen nature, and your sinful heart. When
you need answers, He will remind you how you already have the answers you need. When
you need His love to heal you, He will remind you how you already have His
answers in His love. When
the pain and loneliness of your life overtakes you, in love and tenderness He
will show you how you were the one who caused Him pain and loneliness no one
could bear. In
your realizations and heartfelt pain, He will forgive you. He
understands how you did not know. He
is the one true God and He wants you to accept Him into your heart and life. Praise
