did not want to go to the Cross and die for you, yet He still suffered and died. When
you see how far short of the mark you have fallen, then you will carry a load of
grief because of your sin. Under
your load of grief, always know…you are redeemed by Christ. Under
your load of grief, always know…He came back to give you new life. Under
your load of grief, always know…you are a new creature in Him. When
you survey the wonder of the Cross, there are times you are completely
overwhelmed by His sacrifice for you. In
those overwhelming moments, kneel down before Him and seek His forgiving love. In
your world today, there is darkness all about you. In
your world today, only a few people want to do what is right. Come
to Christ and He will give you the strength to carry on each day. Come
to Christ and He will give you the power to fight against the darkness attacking
you…the darkness wanting you to forget about doing His will. Although
the darkness tries to weaken you, you are strong as you kneel in contrition
before Him. Although
the darkness tries to undermine you, you stand on solid and holy ground before
Him. Although
you are often overcome by the grief of your sinful nature, turn to Him and you
will feel His gentle hand upon your shoulder giving you His calm assurance all
