Let your heart burst in love for Him.

At Christmastime you begin to remember Christmases of the past.

Sometimes you drift off in remembering how things used to be instead of seeing how Christ is blessing things as they are now.

Sometimes you think about the way things might have been, or should have been, or could be.

When you are in a state of nostalgia, confess to Christ how you are leaving Him out of your heart and mind in the here and now.

When you are in a nostalgic mood, you too often think only of yourself.

When you are caught up in selfish nostalgia, your heart is closed off from Christ.

So, this Christmas, as you think of Christmases past and you think of Christmases to come, make your heart a receiving heart.

This Christmas season, believe in Christ and trust Him more.

Christ will help you to be a mighty person of faith, so when you dream about things, He is the focus of your dreams.

This Christmas season…

Open your heart so you can see Christ's angels.

Open your heart so you may see the Magi coming to visit Him.

Open your heart so you may see the shepherds outside the manger where Christ was born.

Open your heart and Christ will speak to you again and again so you will know He loves you.
