Of Faith About A Time To Focus
You might not believe
this, but God made today just for you. On this day, God placed people, places,
events and things in your life so you could glorify Christ. Even with darkness,
pain, and trauma, He made this day, this very day today, to give you an
opportunity to rise above the darkness. God made this day, your day. At
Christmastime, we can get very, very distracted. However, if you meditate upon
what God did by making each day a special day during the Christmas season, a day
just for you, this day and every day takes on momentous meaning. When we lose
focus during Christmas, we must recall our purpose is not to get caught up in
the distractions of the season. Our purpose is to serve others, to love them,
and to show others how Christ really was the true, only begotten Son of God. Our
purpose is to bring God the glory so others in the world will want to follow
Him. Our purpose every moment is to live for Him and live through Him. When we
cast off our present distractions we will find how our purpose for living is His
purpose for us. When we take on His purpose for our life, His love and power
reign down upon us as His incredible gift to us.
