In the darkness of our heart, life, and world, Christ was
born to be our light and life. As one of His infinite gifts to you, when you are
lost, He will come to give you His truth and show you a way out of your
darkness. In the darkness of a cave, Christ came into your world to enlighten
you and keep you from ever becoming lost again. His beaming light and love show
you a way out of every trouble. When your life spins out of control, Christ's
light, love, and truth bring order. No path in your life need be shrouded in
darkness because He will illumine every path. Because Christ was born, when your
life turns troublesome and terrible, His light and love will smooth things out.
His love from His manger and His love from the cross should cause all of us to
want to follow Him all of our days. His love from the manger and His love from
the cross, should cause all of us to want to do His will every moment. When your
path grows dark, lonely and weary, as His infinite gift to you, His light will
shine brighter within your heart. When your path grows rocky and steep, as His
infinite gift to you, His light will shine within you as you scale the steep
cliffs. When your path grows dim as your vision fades, His light illumines your
soul so all things can be clearly seen.
