Of Faith About Being Closer Every Hour
Every hour we get
closer to seeing God, seeing Jesus, and being immersed in the love of the Holy
Spirit. At Christmastime, we can get a tiny, tiny inkling of what is in store
for us when we finally see Jesus face to face. On Christmas, we celebrate His
coming into the world. Jesus came into the world so we could be nearer to Him in
our life right now. Jesus also came into the world to give us a way to be with
Him in eternity. We may not think about how we get closer to Him every hour, but
we do. Some of us will see Him after this life. Tragically, some of us will not
see Him because we did not accept Him as Savior. Every hour we live, we come
closer to seeing Him just as He is. Every hour we come closer to seeing Him in
swaddling clothes resting in His manger. During this Christmas season, live in
His love for you and others. Live in His saving love giving you an eternity of
peace, love, and warmth the likes of which few, if any of us, have ever known on
earth. Every hour, some of us get closer to the greatest hour we could ever
imagine…the hour we see Him face to face in heaven. | |
