Of Faith About Giving Yourself To
Christ
When you give yourself to Christ, there is joy in heaven. As
flawed and broken as you are, as mistake ridden as you are, Christ still wants
you and needs you to be one of His very own. You are precious to Christ. He
cannot enslave you to make you one of His own, but He can rescue you from the
enslavement you put upon yourself because you went your way rather than His way.
When pain and suffering overtake you, He wants you to give yourself to Him so He
can stand beside you, guide you, and comfort you. When you think you are alone,
Christ wants you to give your heart to Him so He will be with you forever.
Although you are a lonely sinner, Christ forgives you and He bestows upon you
His infinite grace and love. Christ does not want you to give to Him for His own
selfish reasons. Christ wants you to give to Him so you will benefit by living
in His glorious eternity forever. Christ wants you to give yourself to Him so
much, He gave all of Himself for you by His death upon the cross…all for you.
