Of Faith About What Christ's Birth Tells You When You Are Alone And Lost
Even at Christmastime, we can often be lost and unable to
find our way. We may search for the Lord but not be able to truly find Him. In
these times, even when we are supposed find the joy of Christmas, but cannot,
the Holy Spirit is over us, under us, and all around us. When we are under
attack and the wolves are howling for our flesh, Christ is still with us. Christ
came into your life to guide you through every dark moment. When your pain is so
deep your soul seems to not exist any more, Christ is still with you…now and
forever. Christ knows how you are in the moments when you are alone and lost.
Recall how He felt forsaken on the cross? Even at Christmas, at supposedly the
most joyous time of the year, when the distress of loneliness is eating your
soul, you are not alone. You are not alone for Christ is with you, touching your
heart, and upholding your soul. At the instant when your soul is broken as you
kneel before Him, listen to Him from the manger, listen to Him from the
cross…listen and you will hear His voice tell you how much He loves you.
