Of Faith About What Jesus Needs From You This Christmas
Jesus has a list, so to speak, of what He would like from you
this Christmas. Oh, He does not want or need you to give Him a material thing.
Certainly, your tithes and offerings to His work on earth are of immense
importance. Beyond your tithes and offerings, what Christ needs from you are
many non-material things. Jesus needs you to be loving, kind, caring, and
compassionate toward others. You have heard "actions speak louder than
words." How you treat others is of enormous importance to Christ because
seeing how you treat others on His behalf reaches others in ways many of our
Christian efforts cannot. Another "gift" you can give Christ this
Christmas is to be unselfish. We can easily get caught up in ourselves and
caught up in our many issues. When we think we have problems and we start to
think our problems are important, we need to take a step back and remember we
are the ones who crucified Christ. No problem we have on earth can compare to
the grievous act we committed by crucifying Christ. This Christmas put aside
what you think you want and need in favor of worshipping Christ. When you put
Him first, over yourself and over your issues, He will be glorified.
