Words Of Faith About Fending Off An Attack By The Darkness… You
live in a violent and mean-spirited world. Yet
the greatest violence in your life does not come from war or the violence of the
street. The
greatest violence and meanness in your life comes to you from your great
adversary and deceiver, Satan. Satan
the great adversary and deceiver brings your sickness, your temptation, your
getting old, your separation from Christ, and your times of falling down. In
your faith and in His love, stand upon Christ’s promise there will come a time
when your great adversary is finally and totally defeated upon the earth. Until
the final battle for mankind is waged, Christ will enable you to wage a great
battle of your own every hour. Christ
will remind you every hour how you can be a winner by attacking Satan. He
will remind you every hour you can attack Satan by spending time in prayer, by
first by praying for others, then by praying you would be able to do the
Christ’s will rather than your own will. Christ
will remind you every hour you can fend off Satan’s attacks by being willing
to walk His path rather than your own path. He
will help you fend off Satan’s attack by refusing to knuckle under to
temptation. Christ
will help you fend off Satan’s attack by loving others more than you love
myself. Christ
will help you fend off Satan’s attack by standing firm and not relenting in
living a holy and devout life for Him. Christ
will help you fend off Satan’s attack so you will have a day of rejoicing in
victory. On
your great day of rejoicing, you will feel Christ wrap His arms around you in
love while He welcomes you into your new home in Heaven. To
Christ belong all praise, honor, and glory. Praise
His name. Amen. |
