are sorry for what you have done and for who you were. Perhaps…you
have spent all of your days either trying to avoid the Lord or going against
Him. Perhaps…you
have heard about how the Lord died for you but you just either didn't believe
the Lord died for you or you didn't care. Perhaps…you
were so caught up in yourself and so caught up in what you wanted, hearing about
how the Lord died for you was of no real interest to you. Perhaps…things
are not looking so good for you. Perhaps…you
only have a few hours left, if that much. Perhaps…you
are sorry for what you have done and for spending your life at war with the Lord
instead of spending your life being at peace with the Lord. Perhaps…you
think "What a waste I made out of the time the Lord gave me!" Perhaps…you
think "What a waste I made out of the life the Lord gave me!" Perhaps…you
are sorry you wasted all those years. Perhaps…you
think "If only I could do things over again." Perhaps…you
think "If only I could start over again." If
these statements are true for you… Say
to the Lord, right now, right where you are, just as you are… "Please
forgive me. I did not know what I was doing. Please accept my apologies. I
really mean it about being sorry. I am not sure how to do this or say this, but
I accept I am a sinner. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I accept Christ
died for me on the cross." Praise
