day you reach out for many things. What
you can sometimes forget to do is reach out to the Lord. In
the darkness of your world… In
your world full of sin and degradation… Call
upon the Lord to help you every hour to reach out to Him. Although
the Lord cannot force you to reach out from within your heart to find Him, He
will remind you in very big ways He is within you. Put
your heart and trust in Him for the Lord will help you listen to Him when the
world comes against you. Put
your heart and trust in Him for the Lord will help you be willing to resist the
darkness attacking you. Put
your heart and trust in Him for the Lord will help you carry your hurts, your
wounds, your fears, and your vulnerabilities to His Cross. Put
your heart and trust in Him for the Lord will help you put your life in Christ's
nail-scarred hands. When
you are worried, He will help you reach out to Him where you will find His
soothing voice to calm you. When
you are in pain, the Lord will help you reach beyond the pain to find Him as the
soothing Great Physician bringing His comfort and healing to every hurt. When
you are suffering and you wonder if the Lord is real, touch your heart and He
will remind you how no suffering can separate you from Him. When
you are worried beyond all human reason, touch your heart and He will assure you
all things will work out and someday you will see Him face to face. When
you think there is no possible way your life will ever blossom again, touch your
heart and He will remind you how in Him, with Him, and through Him, all things
are possible. Praise
