A Prayer For A Time Of Questions And Doubts
Most Precious Lord Jesus�
Gentle And Wonderful God�
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit�
I have many questions and doubts.
I have questions and doubts because I do not understand what you do and
why you do what you do.
I have questions and doubts because I do not understand why you hold back
and do not fix things and make things better.
I have questions and doubts related to my disappointments, my failures, my
sicknesses, my adversities, and my obstacles.
I have questions and doubts because of my experiences with others, with
institutions, and with the church.
Although I have questions and doubts about many things, I have no doubt
you love me.
I have no doubt you died on the cross to save me.
I have no doubt you have forgiven me of my sins.
I have no doubt someday you and I will rejoice beyond rejoicing in heaven
for eternity.
I have no doubt there is in place at every moment a divine plan for me.
Because I have no doubt about you, about your death on the cross, about
your forgiveness, or about your waiting for me in heaven, all my questions
and doubts are really nothing at all.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
