A Prayer About Accepting The Lord's Mysteries

Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful God,
Empowering Holy Spirit,
Thank you for being the power and force giving me life.
As I try to look upon you, there are mysteries I cannot fathom.
There are questions about you I cannot answer.
There are ways about you I do not understand.
When I begin to think I understand why you do things the way you do them, I am confounded again by your mystery.
Yet even when I do not always understand you, I love you and I trust you.
Although there are many things I do not understand, there is one thing I do understand, and there is one thing I do know.
I do understand and I do know you love me.
I do understand and I do know you sent your only begotten Son to earth to die for me, a sinner.
I do understand and I do know you call me to accept you and your sacrifice upon the Cross.
I do now accept you.
I do now attest I accept you as my Lord and Savior who rose again on the third day.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
