A Prayer About Always Preferring God's
Way
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I was born selfish.
All of my days, I have battled my original preference of selfishness.
Satan attacks me and turns me away from you by making me selfish.
Satan attacks me and makes me impatient.
However, you have been with me.
When I wanted to be selfish, you came and helped me become a giving
person.
When I wanted to survey all my material things to make myself feel good,
you came and gave me a heart to give thanks to you rather than a heart
sitting in covetousness.
When I wanted to do things my way, you came and gave me a heart of
repentance so I would do things your way.
In all the days to come in the future, help me be unselfish.
Help me go against my original preference of always wanting what I want.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
