A Prayer For Answers That Empower

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
I want worldly power, Lord.
I want worldly power to make life easier for myself, for my loved ones, and for others.
In truth, I want to be like you.
I want all the power you have so I can do what I want in the here and now.
However, I know it is not your will I should have such power.
I know I am not to have worldly power.
I know I do not need worldly power.
I know I am to be only your humble and contrite child.
When I think I need power, show me all I need is your love.
When I think I cannot handle things because I am weak, show me all I need is your love.
When I think I need answers, show me all I need is your love.
When I think I want power, show me I am always in the palm of your hand and you love me beyond measure.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
