A Prayer For Answers That Uplift Most
Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Where are you, Lord?
Where have you gone?
Why have you left me mired down in this dark hour?
Let me know of your gentle love and grace.
Let me not ask so many questions right now, but let me be content with
your presence within me.
Let me not ask questions about the why and where, but let me be content in
knowing you love me no matter what I may feel.
I know you are living within me, so when it is your will, come forth with
your power of love.
I know you are not far away, so when it is your will, reveal how close you
are to me.
Lord, I am sorry I have doubts.
I am sorry I have questions when I know I already have the answers.
In this hour of my distress and my downhearted mood, shine your light of
truth within me.
I love you, Lord Jesus.
I am yours and you are mine.
Forever and ever we shall never be pulled apart, you and I.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
