A Prayer About Baptizing And Rebirth

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I was unclean.
Yet, you came and poured your living water over me and I was made new.
I was covered in sinful darkness.
Yet, you came and poured your love out for me from the cross.
I was caught up in my own selfish desires.
Yet, you came and turned my heart away from myself.
In my sin, I was unworthy.
Yet, you came and gave me new value.
You came and redeemed me and made me a new person.
In taking away the sin of the world, you also took away my sin.
In our sin, each of us murdered you.
Please forgive us, we did not know what we were doing.
Every hour your spirit surrounds me.
Every hour your redeeming spirit makes me see and feel new.
Every hour your Holy Spirit pours your love and grace over me.
Because I have your love and grace, I can testify you are the Son of the living God.
Because of your love for me, I am reborn.
I am a new baby, even when I might be old.
Even when I am old, I know I shall always be young and always be alive in you.
Every day, now and in the future I accept you as Lord,
Every day, now and in the future I shall be your child.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
