A Prayer To Receive Christ's Beams Of
Forgiveness Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle
And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Thank you for coming to earth to give me eternal life.
I have made many mistakes.
I have fallen down and sinned.
I kneel before you now seeking your forgiveness and your love.
Help me know how much you forgive me by sending your beams of forgiveness
into my heart.
I do not deserve to receive your forgiveness, but in humility and
contrition I bring my heart and life before you.
As I kneel here before your cross and witness your suffering, my heart
breaks within me.
As I come to grips with what I am and who I am, I want to run away in
shame for I have fallen so short of your goal for me.
Yet, at this moment, your power is around me.
Now, at this instant, your power of forgiving love washes away all my
iniquities.
Now, at this instant, your power of forgiving love cleanses me from all
unrighteousness.
I now stand before you a new person.
I now stand before you a person of humility with a love for you going
beyond human expression.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
