A Prayer To Receive Christ's Beams Of Strength

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Forces are tearing away at me and undermining all I try to do.
However, in this dark hour I come to you.
I seek your strength to be poured into me.
What you have done in the past by helping me, I need done again.
You have, for many years, been my supplier of strength and power when I had none of my own.
You have never failed me, no matter how bad the circumstances were for me.
You have always given me more than I could ever dream of seeking.
You have enabled me to do what I thought was impossible to do.
You have enabled me to climb mountains and forge rivers others find so daunting they do not try.
So, in this moment of my powerlessness, I come to you to seek your help once again.
I come to you again for I know you hear me.
I know your beams of strength shine down upon me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
