Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
So many times I have felt like an ogre.
I have felt like an awful spectacle.
My self-image is not the kind of self-image anyone would want to have.
Yet I have a faith and I know what I should know.
I know in your eyes I am the most beautiful creation in the universe.
In your love, show me the beauty of my soul.
In your love, show me the corruption of my soul is not permanent but temporary.
In your love, show me the dirt covering my soul is only temporary and underneath I am your most precious and beautiful person.
Show me my soul is like a sparkling and glistening diamond.
Show me how you have destined me to reflect your eternal light of love to the world around me.
In your love, show me how my soul dazzles with beauty.
In your love, turn me away from the darkness of this world.
In your love, turn me toward your light so pure, clean, radiant, and full of love.
As I turn to you, as I kneel here at the foot of your cross, I surrender all my life up to you.
In my sorrow over my sins, please wash me clean and make me white as snow.
May your light and love shine out from my life as I humbly follow you all of the days of my life.
