A Prayer About Being A Real Hero
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
In the world, we have our heroes.
In you, we see someone who did the ultimate heroic act of giving your life
for us.
In you, I see someone who did the ultimate heroic act of giving your life
for me.
In our world we glorify our heroes.
In your will and in your grace, give your help to all of those who face
obstacles each day.
In your love, help all those who struggle to be obedient to your will each
day.
Give your hope and give your vision to those who must plod along each day.
Inspire those among us who fear for their future.
Inspire those who need great courage to do so many of the things others
take for granted.
Inspire those among us who fear for the future of loved ones.
Help us to not seek worldly fame, but seek to only do your will, no matter
the cost to us.
We do not seek to be heroes in anyone's eyes, except your eyes.
When you are present, help us to open up our heart to you.
When you speak to us, help us listen.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
