A Prayer About Believing In Christ

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There are many things I want.
There are many things I could ask.
However, of all the worldly things I might want, of all the needs I have, I ask only that you give me the power to do your will each day.
Of course, I have pain and suffering.
Who would not want an end to pain?
However, I know your will is done in many ways and many times what we want in the world is not what you want.
Of all my wants and needs, if I ask for something, may I ask to find the power to do only what pleases you rather than what pleases me.
Help me push aside my selfish needs.
Help me believe on your name, the name of Jesus Christ.
Help me love others just as you love me.
Give me the power to obey your commands.
As I obey your commands, let my little light shine out to others for your glory.
I believe in you.
I believe you are the Son of God.
In spite of many obstacles, I keep this truth in my heart.
In spite of many obstacles, I keep this truth in my life and every day I seek to live out this truth about you.
In spite of many obstacles, I believe I have eternal life waiting for me in heaven above because you died for me.
In spite of many obstacles, in spite of pain and suffering, I know whatever I ask you according to your sweet will, you do hear me, and you will deliver to me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
