A Prayer Of Praise About Christ As Unwavering And Unchanging

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I give you praise and honor this hour.
I give you praise and honor this hour because you love me and you stand by me in every circumstance.
O Lord Jesus, some days my world seems to change every second.
There are some days not only does my world seem to change every second, I seem to change every second.
I remember when I was a boy, but now I am a grown man.
My hair is getting gray and my skin is beginning to wrinkle.
As I get older, I see the tragedy of change,
So many changes in my world are not for your glory.
So many changes in my world are from the crumbling of man's inability to love you and receive you fully into the human heart.
Yet, in all these changes, I look at you and see you smiling.
You, O Lord God, most blessed Savior, are unchanging.
You are the unchanging rock upon which I rest when all things seem to have spun out of control.
Through the many changes in my life, through the many ups and downs, you are with me and have never forsaken me.
Your love is constant.
Your love is unwavering.
Your love is unchanging.
You care for me today as you did many years ago.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
