A Prayer About Christ's Discipline In
Love
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Show me how you love me.
Show me how you love me when you discipline me.
Empower me to endure my hardship as discipline.
Although I know you do not hurt me or try to destroy me, help me have the
power to come back against every affliction with your power in me.
Imbue me with the idea my afflictions are a time to muster up my courage,
muster up my will to do your will, and muster up the power to come back.
Give me the imagination to come back against every defeat and every
obstacle.
Give me the wisdom to see how critical discipline is in my faith.
Give me the wisdom to see how critical discipline is in my life.
When I undergo trials, keep me from faltering and failing.
When I undergo trials, make me a true child of yours by enabling me to
keep my life under your loving hand.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
