A Prayer About Courage To Know The Truth

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I am not a courageous person.
I am afraid much of the time.
I want to run away from what I know is the truth.
Show me and teach me I have nothing to fear because you are with me.
Show me and teach me I have nothing to fear because you died to set me free from all my fears, anxieties, and phobias.
Show me and teach me I have more courage than I will ever need to face the truth, because the truth is glorious in your love.
Help me stand on the promises you made so long ago so I will lose all timidity, doubt, misgiving, and reticence.
Show me and teach me, the truth is I have heaven waiting for me and I need not fear.
Show me and teach me, I have nothing to fear because the truth will set me free.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
