A Prayer About The Covering Of God
Most Precious Lord Jesus�
Gentle And Wonderful God�
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit�
When I was broken in my sin, you came and covered over my transgressions.
When I was broken in my sin, you came made my blemishes disappear by
pouring your blood shed for me over my sins.
When I was broken in my sin, you came and poured your living water over me
and washed me clean and white as new driven snow.
When I was selfish and full of my ego, I turned away from what I was and
you gave me a new life as you made me into a new person with no ego and no
selfishness.
When I thought only of myself, you came and gave me pictures and images of
others as you showed me how much they hurt, how much they fear, and how
much they need me to help them.
When I rejected you and turned against you, even in those times in which I
now find such shame, you stayed with me and you never left me.
Then, when I saw my sin, you were merciful to me and your sweet voice
called out to me�I heard you, I turned away from who I was, and I fell
upon the ground in front of your cross.
Oh Lord God, precious Lord Jesus, I am so sorry for what I did and who I
was.
I now turn to you and I now surrender to you all that I am, all that I
have, and all that I shall ever be.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
