A Prayer During Times Of Darkness

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful God, Empowering Holy Spirit�
Precious Jesus, as much as I am able, I love you.
In my hours of distress, I am drawn away from you, yet you are always near me.
In times of temptation, my soul is attacked by darkness, yet you are always by my side telling me to stand firm and not to falter.
In times of darkness, I would attack my attackers, yet you are next to me and continually showing me your forgiving ways.
When I am tired and exhausted, you are there to push me onward.
So many times and in so many ways you call me, and I lift up my soul to you in thanksgiving and praise.
All these things I humbly pray, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen
