A Prayer Of Praise About Being Entrusted With
A Will To Do God's Will
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I trust you, Lord Jesus.
I praise your name because you gave me a will and you gave me the ability
to have intentions.
Because of your great gift of my will, I can make decisions, I can set
goals, I can pursue dreams, I can express your love.
In this moment of prayer, I humbly beseech thee to always help me use my
will for your glory and not for my own.
Help me always want to do what you want me to do.
Help me always discern what is good and kind as you help me point my will
in your direction.
As your will flows through my life, let me always align my will and my
intention in the direction of your will.
Let me always be the captain of my will and not be a captive of it.
Let me always be the one who disciplines and controls my thoughts, my
life, and my actions.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen |
