A Prayer For Faith And Wisdom
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful God, Empowering Holy Spirit
Precious Jesus, I adore thee.
As I grow older each day, reveal your wisdom to me.
As the days of my life increase, let my faith in you also increase.
As I grow older and my hair turns gray, let me stand taller in my trust in
you.
In you, Lord, I have trusted for many days.
In you, I will trust forever.
Your path we have walked together has not been smooth, but you have proved
to always be with me.
Through thick and thin, through famine and plenty, you have been my best
friend.
I know you will be with me to the beginning of my new life in your
heavenly home.
Yes, Lord, I know I am but just a baby in your truth and in your love, so
please inspire me to know more about you every day.
I see the days pass by and I worry about the people who will follow me on
this earth.
I pray to you now, Wonderful Savior, to reach down and touch the hearts of
young people.
Renew the minds of young people so the world they build will be a world
reflecting your love and compassion for all people.
In your name, I beseech you to break through the barriers put up by the
evil onethe barriers of sin separating young people from you.
In your name, I call upon you to inspire messengers to go out into our
dark and sinful world to proclaim your redeeming love for all the people
of the earth.
Please, Lord Jesus, raise up a new generation of ministers, pastors,
teachers, and evangelists over all the earth so all people will know you
are Savior and Lord.
All these things I humbly pray, in the name of the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit.
Amen
