Life is grinding me down.
I am down, I am depressed, I cannot see ahead, and I have lost hope.
I need an encouraging word from you to keep going hour by hour, day by day.
All around me, I can see others who also need encouragement.
Let your words of life in your holy word speak to me.
In you I know I have hope.
In you I know I have hope to last me forever.
In you I have total and complete confidence your path for me is just and right.
Even when I cannot see any logic in walking your path, I shall walk on day by day.
In you there is no fault, spot, or blemish, so I know I can trust you with every day of my future.
In you I know I can find the power to turn every obstacle into a glorious moment for you.
In you I know I have someone who is on my side.
In you I know I have someone who can turn the impossible into a reality as it pleases your will to do.
In every darkness I know I can find your light of love, grace, and everlasting life.
In every darkness I know I can find your encouragement.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
