A Prayer To Find Purity And Holiness Precious
Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
O Precious All In All,
Wonderful, merciful Lord.
Let me live a pure life.
Let me live a life free of greed.
Instead of piling up money and things for myself, let me live a life full
of giving from my wants and needs.
Let me live a life free of ego.
Instead of being caught up in myself let me be caught up in what you, O
Lord, want for me.
Let me live a life free of selfish pride.
Instead of taking pride in what I do, let me take moments to reflect upon
what you have done for me.
Let me continually hear your call upon me to put others before myself.
Let me live a life free of lust.
Instead of lusting after people and their possessions, let me see their
hurts and pain so I may be reduced to pure service for them in your holy
name.
Let me live a life free of anger.
Instead of boiling over in anger, let me put your light in the rooms of
darkness within me.
May your love and light dispel the boiling undercurrents within my soul.
Let me live a life free of envy.
Instead of wanting what others have, let me be content only in what I have
now and what you have stored up for me in heaven.
Let me live a life free of laziness.
Instead of laziness, let me be aggressive and hardworking in my service
and dedication in doing your work.
I love you, O Lord.
I adore you, Precious One.
All these things I humbly pray.
