A Prayer To Find Peace In Times Of Stress
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I live in praise for I know in you I can find peace and power.
In your name and by your power I come against this terrible stress trying
to take me down.
Please show me your love and peace.
Please show me how you are always beside me and I have nothing to fear.
I praise your name for in you I know I can find the peace I need.
I praise your name for in you I know I can find the comfort I lack.
In you, because you died for me, I am joyful in hope, patient in
affliction, and faithful in prayer.
When my stress comes against me hour after hour, remind me the night is
almost over and my eternal day is almost here.
When I think I am too stressed and too distracted to really pray, keep me
in your presence just a little while longer.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
