A Prayer About The Foolishness Of Worry
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You know me, Lord.
You know I am a worrier.
You know I conjure up dark thoughts of things I think might happen in the
future.
I know worrying is foolish because nearly all of what I worried about in
the past never came to pass.
I know worrying is such a useless activity.
I know worrying is mental time wasted.
In your love and grace, when I start to worry, bring me your peace and
show me your power of positive thought about the future.
In your love and grace, when I start to worry, bring me your love and show
me I am on this earth such a brief time my worries are nothing but
foolishness.
In your love and grace, when I start to worry about what will probably
never be, help me by activating me on what worries me.
In your love and grace, show me how to take action on what worries me.
All these things I humbly pray.
