A Prayer For A Time When Feeling Compelled To Help Others

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Sometimes I feel forced or compelled to help others even when I know letting others help themselves would be the best for them.
Sometimes I feel forced or compelled to help others because of my weaknesses.
Inspire me to help others only from my strengths as I call others to use their strengths.
Inspire me to help others help themselves so they will be stronger rather than weaker.
When I go to help someone, pour down your power into me so I know how to help others help themselves.
When I feel forced or compelled to help others, touch my heart with your wisdom and stop me for just a minute so I make people stronger rather than weaker because I helped them.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
