A Prayer For God To Reveal His Will
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
There are many things I want.
There are many situations I want to change.
Many times during the day, I want what is just out of reach.
Help me to always want only what you want for me rather than wanting only
what I want for myself.
Help me turn away from my will and turn only to your will.
May I always find your power within me to pull back my hand from reaching
out for what I want.
May I always find the power within me to reach out only for what you will
me to have.
May I always follow your will rather than my own.
Even when following your will may cause me pain, suffering, and
persecution, may I find the strength to bring your love into my
consciousness and do only what it is you want me to do.
May I always remember that no matter what the cost might be in doing your
will, may I always remember and may I always know I shall have peace and
contentment into eternity as I do your will.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
