Prayer For New Hope When Hope Is Gone

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for pouring your love and your grace into my heart.
Thank you for showing me I have resources I think I do not have.
Thank you for showing me your way home when I think I am lost.
Lord, I am lost again.
I know this sounds really dumb but I see no way out of where I am right now.
Things look dark and bleak.
I see no way to change anything.
I see no way to remove the mountains in front of me.
I see no way to come back and renew the promise that was so prevalent in my heart just a short time ago.
I need your touch to renew my hope.
I need your touch to renew my vision.
According to your will, let this time in my life be a time of teaching and gaining wisdom.
According to your will, let this time of hopelessness be a reminder to me that permanent hope in life comes only from you and not from any other source.
I love you, Lord.
I try to do what is right.
Whatever you want me to do, wherever you want me to go, that is what I will try to do.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
