A Prayer For The Lord's Touch Of Love

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God, I love you.
May the life of every person on earth be made ready to receive your touch of love.
May the heart of every person on earth see your grace, your majesty, and your compassion.
Where there is hatred among nations, may your hand reach down and turn the hate into love.
Where there is hatred among nations, may the eyes of those people who hate be able to see the children of the world and hate no more.
When there is talk of war, may the talk be stilled while the world holds a child in its arms.
When there is talk of retribution, may the helpless hand of an infant touch the hand of those who seek to kill and destroy, and may the need for revenge be turned into forgiveness.
May there be peace in every home as each heart turns to you in love and adoration.
May there be your joy in every heart, as every heart looks upward to see your smiling face.
May the injustice in the world end and may the worldly powers who control the destiny of the world fall down before you.
Forgive us for we have sinned and fallen away from you.
Forgive us for we have forgotten you.
Forgive us for we have distorted you to fit our own ends.
May the heart of each person who reads these words send up love to you.
May the heart of each person who reads these words receive back your peace and love in return.
