A Prayer To Give Away God's Power Precious
Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Let your power never touch me as long as I want it to benefit only myself.
If there is no other way, let me be weakened and humbled to the point
where all I can think about is you.
I do not want to be weakened and humbled, but if it is the only way you
have of reaching me, let it be as you will.
Let me receive whatever power or gift you have for me in a spirit of
humility and gratitude.
Let my ego be banished from your sight.
Let my selfishness be erased.
Let my needs never come before doing your will.
If it is your will I should be gifted with any part of your power, always
be with me and show me the way I should use this power.
In every circumstance where your power is upon me, show me the darkness of
abandoning your path.
In every circumstance where your power is upon me, show me the true
blessings of doing your will.
Enable me to prepare my heart to always be attuned to your love.
Whatever it is you want to give me or take from me, let my heart be
content in your ways.
Let me never keep your power but enable me to always give all of your
power away.
Let me never use your power for my own benefit but let me always use your
power for your glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
