A Prayer About Giving In Pain

Precious Lord, Wonderful Savior, Gracious Heavenly Father,
O how I love you, wonderful Jesus.
I am in pain this hour, yet you are with me.
Let me not be so burdened down with my own pain and suffering I fail to put you first above all circumstances.
When I hurt, give me the power to give in spite of the pain.
When the deep waters billow over me and I am certain I shall die, give me the power to give in spite of my plight.
Let my pain be an inspiration to give more than I have, knowing you are pushing me onward to greater realms where rewards are waiting beyond my wildest dreams.
Let me remain faithful and true to you.
Let me move further and give more generously without regard for my present circumstances.
When my sufferings turn me inward, may your gentle touch speak to my heart so I am turned outward to give in your holy name.
Assure me of the sure defeat of the darkness seeking to strike me down.
Inspire me to give beyond any ability I have to give on my own.
When I am suffering great trials, let me be giving and generous without regard for what I may receive in return.
Let the fire of your Holy Spirit consume my thinking.
Let me surrender generously to the needs of your little ones who so desperately need to see you within me.
I love you, O Lord.
I adore you, Precious One.
All these things I humbly pray.
