A Prayer About God Being Bigger Than You
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I love you not because I have to.
I love you not because you make me love you.
I love you not because I have no options or no choice.
I love you because you loved me first.
I love you because you were willing to be tortured and die a terrible
death on the cross just for me.
In my love for you, I carry immense sorrow over what I did to you.
In my love for you, I find your forgiveness, your mercy, and your saving
grace.
Because of your forgiveness, mercy, and saving grace, you are bigger than
any problem I could ever face.
You are bigger than any pain I could ever experience.
You are bigger than any fear, any anxiety, any worry, or any temptation.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
