A Prayer For God To Reveal His Understanding And Compassion

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I know you possess all knowledge, wisdom, and foresight about me.
I know you have known me from the very beginning of time.
When I am in pain and I am alone, I know you are with me, giving me comfort out of your compassion.
Lord Jesus, I need your love wrapped around me right now.
I hurt deep within my soul.
All I have ever dreamed about, the worldly dreams so many of us dream, I realize now my worldly dreams will probably never be.
I know, it is not your will I should dream worldly dreams.
In your will and in your compassion, help me put these worldly dreams aside so I may more fully serve you night and day.
In your will and in your love, may your compassion and understanding soothe the ache in my heart as you replace the ache in my heart with your kindness and vision for my life.
As I put aside what I want in favor of what you want, give me the humor to see the folly of my ways.
As I put aside what I want in favor of what you want, give me the power to guide others in your path of righteousness, humility, and love.
I need you this hour.
May my life be a blessing to you upon the earth.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
