A Prayer For Godly Gratitude When Receiving Other's
Gifts
Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
When I receive a gift or blessing from any source, may I always give
thanks in humble gratitude.
When I receive a gift, may I never feel insecure or guilty.
When I receive a gift, may I receive every gift as a gift sent by you, my
precious Lord.
Whenever I receive a gift, may I receive the gift in pure joy and
happiness because you and your love are part of the gift.
May I receive all gifts in a spirit of love.
If I cannot receive a gift in the spirit of your love, take me to your
cross so I understand more fully how much you gave to me.
So I may receive all blessings more fully, help me understand the
magnitude of your sacrificial gift for me on your cross so divine.
So I may receive all blessings more fully, help me see my sin and then
turn away from my sin.
May I always be able to fully accept gifts of love in my heart just as you
accept me within your heart.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
