A Prayer About God's Forgiveness Beyond Reason
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord
Jesus, I love you.
My human reason tells me I have done unforgivable things in my life.
What my faulty human reason does not tell me is I am forgiven.
I am forgiven of the vilest of sins, forgiven by you, my Precious Lord
Jesus.
What I know in my heart, even if I cannot know it in my mind, is you are
willing and capable of forgiving me, even when I cannot forgive myself.
You are willing and capable of forgiving me even when no other human being
on earth is capable of forgiving me.
My human reason may tell me I am unforgivable.
My human reason may tell me I am unforgivable and must stand outside the
mainstream of all the people I know, and all my friends and family.
However, my human reason is wrong about my being unforgivable because if I
want, I know I am already forgiven by you.
Thank you, Precious Lord Jesus, for your forgiveness beyond reason.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
