A Prayer For God's Gift Of Peace

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
You are the giver of utmost peace.
In spite of my greatest darkness, distress, and tribulations, you come to me and pour your peace into my heart.
When I cannot find peace in any human way, you come to me and give me what I cannot achieve as a human being.
As much as I am able, I remain faithful to your call and to your mission upon my life.
I know in my heart, as I remain faithful, you come and give me your peace.
At times when I have lost my way and I am fearful, frightened, or anxious, you are there to reassure me and guide me.
Through your strength and your will, I am able to find your peace in the middle of raging storms.
When your peace reigns within me, your peace leads me to victory for you.
In my private agonies, your peace comes and lets your peace be your victory over the darkness and suffering I face.
Let me never use my suffering for ego or for attention.
Let my true suffering be known only to you and you alone.
Let my suffering be a reminder to me of how much you have called me to be obedient and trusting in all ways and at all times.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
