A Prayer About God's Possession
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You are my Father in heaven.
I look to you in my times of trouble and strife.
I share with you my joys and hopes.
Enable me every day to live a holy and righteous life.
Enable me to live a life in reverence and awe of you.
Put in me an accepting heart.
Put in me a forgiving heart reaching out to others in love.
Put in me a mind seeking your truth.
Put in me the motivation to live out your truth.
To you I give all honor and glory.
To you I sing praises for the wonderful blessings you have bestowed upon
me.
Place in me a loving and kind heart, a heart without wrong ideas, a heart
without wrong thoughts, a heart without corruption, and a heart without
the thought to use or exploit others.
You are holy.
To you I give praise for your glorythe same glory falling upon me the
hour I first believed.
When you first found me I knew you were drawing me close, holding me
close, and counting me as one of your very own.
Your word of truth resounds in my heart every minute.
Your word of truth resounds in my heart and tells me the story about
eternal life and about a better life to come.
I know you placed upon me a mark or seal, the Holy Spirit.
With the advent of your glory in my life, you gave me my greatest
possession, the guarantee of eternal life with you in heaven above.
You have given me everything I need for life and living
in my present time and place.
You have given me godliness in my soul and in my behavior.
You have given me godliness through my knowledge of you.
You have given me your great and precious promise so I can be a citizen in
the kingdom of God today and all the days that follow.
You have given me a way to touch and live in the divine, a gift searched
for throughout the ages past.
You have given me a way to escape the corruption in the world caused by my
sinful and evil desires.
For this very reason, I shall make every effort to add to my faith
goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, and from knowledge, your truth.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
Amen
