A Prayer To Do God's Will In Spite Of Fear

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle and Wonderful God, Truly Awesome and Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I love you.
I honor you and reach out to you as my personal God.
I honor you and know you look over my life from your home in Heaven.
I honor you not because you have power over me but because of your sheltering arms holding me up this hour.
I am weak and small and my attempts at prayer are also weak and small.
Today I am in great fear.
I am afraid of what will happen to me in the future.
I am afraid of what will happen to my family.
I am afraid of what will happen to the work I have built up.
In my fear, I am simple and humble in your sight but seek your wisdom to deal with what makes me so afraid.
Help me humbly show the world you are real and show everyone how much you love them just as you love me no matter how afraid I am of the future.
I face obstacles and roadblocks of many kinds, yet in your love I know you are with me.
When I am mired down in fear and adversity, I am tempted to go my own way rather than not your way.
Help me to always seek your tender touch and while I also seek your grace to be alive in me, even when I am afraid.
Lead me to you when I stray because my fear has made me think of myself rather than think of you.
Guide my steps in the darkness of this moment.
I am grateful you understand me and love me in spite of my weaknesses, deficiencies, sin, and fear.
To you I give all praise, honor, and glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
