A Prayer About God's Wisdom

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
How foolish are those who do not believe the message of the cross.
Those who are so foolish and do not believe are perishing.
All of us who believe are saved by you.
All of us who believe are saved by your holy power.
All of us who believe are touched by the same power that brought you from death to life.
You have destroyed the wisdom of the wise.
You have frustrated the wisdom of the intelligent.
The wise men of this age do not believe and are caught up in the foolishness of believing their human self-made wisdom.
The scholars of this age do not believe and are caught up in the foolishness of believing their human knowledge.
The philosophers of this age do not believe and are caught up in the foolishness of believing their human ideas.
The world still does not know you.
However, through the foolishness of what we preach, some do believe and they are saved.
Thank you precious Lord, for saving those who do believe.
Miraculous signs we cannot produce.
Special wisdom we cannot provide.
However, we preach you, Christ crucified, a stumbling block to those living in foolishness.
We preach you and your holy power.
We preach you and you holy wisdom.
Above all else, we preach your salvation message.
Praise be to your holy name, for in you and from you we have righteousness, holiness and redemption.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
