A Prayer For Help To Always See The Good
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Help me always see the good, even in a world full of darkness, sin,
corruption, and evil.
Let your spirit fall upon me in every dark circumstance so I can see your
good, your love, and your truth in the middle of these tumultuous times.
Let my eyes see your hand reach down and touch all living things moving
across the face of the earth.
Let my eyes and my spirit see your hand touch the heart and soul of your
children who know you.
Let my eyes and my spirit see your hand touch the heart and soul of your
children who have rebelled and run away from you.
When it seems evil and darkness overwhelms me, show me how your good and
wonderful mercy shall truly win the day.
When it seems I have been defeated, show me your victory anew.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
