A Prayer For Help To Build A Life For Christ

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful God, Empowering Holy Spirit,
Let thy will be poured out over me.
Let me work my hands to build a spiritual house that will last forever.
Let the daily decisions I make build a house that will not fall.
Let the daily battles I face be waged so I can glorify you and glorify your love.
I praise your name for you are the rock of my being.
You, O Lord, are the foundation upon whom I rely so much.
If it were not for you, I would be nothing and be blown away by the wind.
If it were not for you, I would be washed away by the rain.
In all the great trials and tribulations, in all the great storms that tear away at my life, you are the great anchor.
In your great and mighty arms, I find rest and reassurance that at the end of all things there is unspeakable joy and blessings so great no one can fathom their number.
Help me keep this vision of eternity alive each day so I can help build your kingdom one tiny rock at a time.
Let the trials and adversities of each day serve as the mortar.
Let my humility serve as the trowel.
Let my pain and suffering serve as the muscle.
Let my heart for you be the guiding plan that helps shape the house that is built upon the solid rock that I know is you.
